New Left Notes, 1969: Six Issues Through the Split

The revolutionary youth movement proposal was conceived of as a transitional strategy for the development of a specifically working class movement. It recommends the transcendance of SDS from a radical students organization to a class conscious movement of the youth of the entire working class. It is distinguished from the Worker-Student Alliance by its recognition of revolutionary youth as a part of the working class.

The layer reads 'co rid ourselves' where the sentence plainly wants 'to rid ourselves'; it is left as the layer has it because the page image for this issue was not available to check, and it falls outside the quoted span.
