Worker born at Acqui. Socialist from 1909. Williams identifies him as secretary of the commissars at FIAT Centro and describes the factory council under his leadership taking responsibility for defense, transport, raw materials, and guards during the September 1920 occupation. ANPI records council organizing, occupation leadership, PCd'I founding membership, antifascist imprisonment, Resistance leadership, and later FIOM and PCI offices.
